We are Ekofluid
A house built for one discipline
Ekofluid is an Austrian engineering company that designs and builds industrial oil and fluid processing systems for transformer applications and beyond — X-ray, defense, medical, and refining.
One competence, applied with discipline
Most industrial equipment companies subcontract half of what they sell. Ekofluid does not work this way.
Every system the company sells is designed, built, wired, programmed, painted, tested, and commissioned by Ekofluid employees, at Ekofluid facilities, under Ekofluid quality control. Mechanical fabrication, electrical assembly, control software, painting, testing — none of it is outsourced.
The discipline behind the work is vacuum and adsorption engineering, refined across thirty years and applied to a narrow set of industrial problems where oil condition is essential. The largest application is transformer oil, where Ekofluid is the reference platform. The same competence builds custom systems for X-ray equipment, pulse generators, defense applications, medical devices, additive blending, and oil refining.
One house. One discipline. Many applications.
Engineering
Designed in Vienna
Ekofluid's engineering teams work across two sites. Vienna handles sales engineering, customer specification, project management, and the design of bespoke systems for non-standard applications. Levice handles mechanical design, electrical engineering, automation, control software, and the iteration of the standard product platforms. Vacuum and adsorption physics, control logic, and field experience meet at the same table — and stay there until the system is on a truck.
Manufacturing
Built in Levice
Ekofluid's manufacturing facility in Levice handles every physical step of system production: mechanical fabrication, vessel welding, frame construction, hydraulic and pneumatic assembly, electrical wiring, painting, and final testing. Nothing is subcontracted. The same engineers who design the system supervise its build. The same technicians who build it run the factory acceptance tests. Quality is enforced by proximity, not paperwork.
On-site service
Service crews, on live transformers
Ekofluid operates its own service division, running REOIL and FILOIL equipment directly at customer substations. Most services are performed on energized transformers — no outage, no oil transport, no downtime for the asset. The crews are Ekofluid employees, trained on the same equipment they install. When a customer buys an Ekofluid system, the same company stands behind it for the next thirty years.
